David came to Muswell Hill Golf Club in 1987 as assistant to Iain Roberts and became a fully qualified PGA Professional in 1991. Together they developed a coaching strategy that has been widely recognised as a successful blueprint for golfers of all ages and standards. When Ian Roberts left to become Head Professional at The Royal Hong Kong Golf Club in 1997 David took over as Head Professional. Over the years he has built a reputation throughout the region for delivering results that are both achievable and rewarding.
“I encourage my staff to attend courses and seminars to keep up-to-date with all the latest techniques and developments within the game of golf. We compete whenever possible to make sure our own game is up to scratch! Golf is a game for life that anyone can play and, no matter how good you are, you can always improve.”

Don became a fully qualified PGA Professional in 2000. He joined David at Muswell Hill in 1996. Over the next few years he competed on the Elite Pro Tour and the Euro Pro Tour. He is a real student of the modern game and follows closely all the latest coaching developments. He worked with Head England Coach David Ridley and considers his main influences to be Michael Hebron - Inside moves the outside, Jim Hardy - Plane Truth - understanding the golf swing and Dr Karl Morris - Golf Psychology. All the above influences have allowed me to develop a rounded understanding of the golf swing. My objectives are to get my students into solid ball striking positions that make the swing easy and repeatable. I combine this with an in-depth introduction to course management so together we can achieve a much more enjoyable golfing experience and lower scores.
