LADIES SCRATCH DIV 2

Muswell Hill’s Second Team was introduced in 2015 to make sure that all the low handicap ladies played competitive golf. The second team currently plays in Division 3. This year 2017-18 Division 3 is one league made up of teams from 5 different clubs. Half the matches are played at home and half away again on the weekends March-August, with the top 2 teams playing off for promotion to Division 2 on Finals day. In 2016, the ‘B’ team won one of the two Div. 2 leagues, but lost a play-off for promotion to Div. 1 and an anomaly in the seeding rules placed the team back in Div. 3. The Scratch competition rules are currently being reviewed and will be introduced for next season 2018/19.

The Team Captains contact players eligible to play and advise players of the dates for each game, which will also be posted on the Ladies’ noticeboard in the club. Teams are selected on the lowest handicappers available for each match. The league tables will also be posted on the notice board regularly throughout the season.
