On Saturday 29th April we host a very special competition and event to celebrate two of our most esteemed members, who are both sadly no longer with us. John Paramor and Alan Drake each made enormous contributions to our club and to the wider game, were contemporaries on the golf course and close friends off it. This is an opportunity to remember them, play golf, take food and drink beer in their honour.

The competition is a 4BBB stableford. Competitors will tee off from the 1st tee from 9-11am with the draw made and tee times confirmed after the closing date for entry of 25th April. Open to all members, we will also welcome colleagues and friends of John and Alan on the day.

There is a £10 entry fee to cover a contribution to the chosen charity of their families and prizes for the best pairs and the usual other bits. Golf will be followed at 3pm by an unveiling of a plaque in memory of Alan Drake on the 10th tee. There will be a BBQ for golfers and any non-golfing guests, click here to view menu and here to book.
